If I had a nickel for every time I got obsessed with a ship between a protagonist who wants to save the world from evil, but unknowingly becomes the mirror and guiding light of a demigod in disguise (who is responsible for the aforementioned evil, and the state of the decaying world as it is AND is trying to remake it, for better or for worse), I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot BUT ISN'T IT FUNNY that it happened twice?
#.ioana rambles#dragon age#solavellan#the rings of power#haladriel#or what is the ship name??#i do wonder if there is an overlap between fanbases because TROP and DA have a lot of common themes and motifs and it's a lot of fun#to notice them#sauron x galadriel#are the most tragic version of solavellan tbh#and of course the two aren't a perfect match but rather variantions on the same theme#of a cosmic connection between a hero and the nominal villain they have more in common with than not#solas is quite far from sauron both as backstory and morally i think#but there are a lot of common themes!!!#i do hope we can see a happier ending for solavellan than for haladriel though#trop#da#saurondriel
